Just as Daniel Craig was amazing in 'Casino Royale', the newest 007 doesn't disappoint in 'Quantum', either. Craig's slew of ruthless tactics, witty one-liners and, of course, boyish charm, are more than plentiful in a Bond film that I, personally, thought was too short (1 hr. 46 min.). Other than duration, I really had only one problem with the movie: it was a DIRECT continuation of 'Royale' (i.e., multiple references to Vesper Lynd and Le Chiffre); so, if you hadn't seen Craig's first 007 movie, you wouldn't be COMPLETELY lost when trying to figure out James Bond's emotions, but you'd be awfully close. So, if you haven't seen it yet, make sure to watch 'Casino Royale', then go see another great Bond movie in 'Quantum of Solace'!!
Unbelievable. Christian Bale outdoes himself as Gotham's prince/Dark Knight, and Heath Ledger's Joker is one of the best big screen characters of the past 25 years- Jack Nicholson should probably just go hide in a closet when people start comparing the two antagonists. This recent Batman series easily accounts for two of the best superhero movies ever made, and I look forward to seeing more from Christopher Nolan! Good luck to him finding an actor to take the place of Ledger, cause the Joker will most certainly return- and they will be some BIG purple shoes to fill.
