The Dark Knight is the paragon comic book movie. It was filled with action, a deep and complex plot that taunted the audience to just try to follow, but in the end, everything is made clear. The action was top notch too.
All of the actors did a bang-up job, Christian Bale took the Batman and made him something that he's not been for a long time, the anti-hero. Heath Ledger's performance was absolutely spectacular, he made the Joker into one of the scariest, most menacing villains of our time.
The plot always had you on your toes, there was never really a dull moment. You always found yourself trying to piece together what would happen next, but then there would be a sudden twist that takes it into an entirely new direction.
Overall, the could be the greatest superhero movie that's been made to date.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
