To start off with, I do not recommend this movie for children under age 13. There are adult themes and the bad guys do bad things. That aside there are few negative comments that I could make. Heath Ledger's Joker really brings the character to life and is an excellent match for Batman. The acting is excellent across the board and the effects are awesome. I saw the Imax version and I recommend it but I'm sure it's great no matter where you see it. If you are interested enough in this movie to read a review, then you have no reason not to go see it. Christian Bale continues his excellent portrayal of Batman that really reflects back on the lone hero in the Dark Knight comics. He is complex and conflicted just as he should be. Aaron Eckhart fills the role of Harvey Dent as well as the other actors fill their roles. I really can't point out any bad performances or serious plot faults in the movie without nitpicking. I recommend the movie to anyone of appropriate age to handle the dark themes and violence presented.
