Everyone's expectations were too high in my opinion, but the movie did not dissapoint. Not in the least. I would have never guessed that I'd like this so much. It was dark and somewhat disturbing but one of the most entertaining movies ever. This is a must see for any movie fan and should be at the top of the list for any comicbook movie fan. The movie was so far off from the kiddie superhero stance the TV show and some previous batman movies took. It was PG-13 but could easily have been an R, which is great for me. The muting of a curse word or a scene where the camera pans for a second as a character is being executed do a great job at keeping it as violent as it should be for us to believe these are indeed real criminals (and in many cases, the worst of the criminals) Batman is fighting. Go see it!
Yes, I recommend this movie.
