I expected to see a great movie. After all, it was directed by Martin Scorsese and stars Leonardo DiCaprio along with a great cast.
Wow! Was I disappointed! Poorly shot, no compelling plot, one interesting twist at the end but it never grabbed me and pulled me in.

We were really excited to see Invictus after all the Golden Globe buzz. It is a Clint Eastwood movie...he never disappoints. But no so in this case. The movie is really slow. The build up to the World Cup is choppy and you never know how they are doing until the finals. Matt Damon's performance is stiff. And it never really explains what Invictus is or how it had this dramatic effect in Nelson Mandela's life.
Too long, boring and quite frankly a big disappointment! Go see "The Blind Side" instead!!!
