About 90% faithful to the graphic novel and beautiful to watch. The squid-creature at the end is missing but that was the only part of this otherwise-brilliant novel I thought was weak, so no great loss there. The alternative plot replacement is plausible in the context of the story. My only complaints would be that they left out the murder of Hollis Mason (in my view, both poignant and symbolic of the older generation's inability to master the new chaos confronting everyone) and that the sex scene in the Owl ship comes off as oddly comical for some reason - not what I think Snyder was going for. Otherwise this is a great (at times brilliant) movie and I'd definitely recommend it!

One of the best movies to come out in the last 5 years! Taughtly directed and beautifully acted. Ledger is amazing! The entire cast is really. You have to see this!
