The best live-action superhero movie ever made!
I have never witnessed any film thread together so many plot themes so convincingly. This triumph is a true tragic story that still gives us hope in the end. Ledger's Joker is comparable to Hopkins' Hannibal Lector from Silence of the Lambs. Finally, a director has grasped the essence of Batman's character, and the Dark Knight shines brightly as a result.
