Great performances...not as great of a plot.

I was suprised by the film. I was definitely expecting something different when I saw the trailers. The performances and direction of the film were certainly great, and they are probably worth seeing the film, but the plot/ story-line was not as "up to par." I left the movie thinking, "what was this movie really about?" Not a whole lot happened, plot-wise during the movie.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
