The film "The Dark Knight" was an amazing masterpiece. I had some problems with the fight scenes being a bit too flashy you could say but overall my experience was unbelievable. I have seen every batman film that was listed as a blockbuster and none of them come close to this film except for tim burtons "Batman". Within the first ten minutes after i had seen the joker played by Heath Ledger I was completely breathtaken by his performance. I said to a friend "he blew Jack Nicholson out of the water in the first scene". The joker was definately my reason for seeing the film and i was not dissappointed. Christian Bale had a very good performance but i believe he tries a little too hard as if it isnt something thats natural for him, for instance his voice he tries to give it his dark texture a little to furiously to give it a real style. The Jokers voice on the other hand was perfect and cynical and dark and funny and everything and more that is expected from the role of the greatest super villian in childrens minds today. I will never forget this movie and will definately be added to my collection. I hope Heath Ledger is given many post humous awards for such a captivating and most likely the greatest performance for a character i have ever seen.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
