The reason why the movie was so frightening is becasue the director made the setting so much more realistic than batman begins. He left all the clues that they were filming in chicago in the movie which made it seem way more close to home than I ever thought. Ledger's performance was chilling and perfect.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
