Excellent Movie

This was a really good action-packed super-hero movie. I have to admit that seeing Heath Ledger look as bad as he did in the character made it a little bit creepy but it also showed what a great actor he was destined to be had he not died at such a young age. I can't image watching it if I were his mother.
In my opinion it is not a movie for kids under about 10 - there were some little ones in front of me and they seemed very frightened by it - it's a very loud movie too and that added to the fear factor for little ones. I went with my 18 year old son and it was a great mom/son date movie! We both loved it and I would (and will probably) go back and see it again. I wasn't crazy about the actress who played Rachel and didn't like the way her part of the story wound up, but it was a great movie none the less. Mr. Bale is the best batman ever. I also love the fact that Gary Oldman is a good guy in these movies. He's always been a favorite of mine but he's usually very disturbed and/or very evil. If you like action movies, you will like it even if you're not a super-hero fan.
