Some of the reviews are saying the 'magic' that we saw in movies one and two just isn't there in this, the next-to-last installment. No, it's not. Simply because the 'magic' to which they refer was the NOVELTY of the series! The characters no longer are surprised by their abilities, and have learned the basics of magic.
What this movie DOES give us, however, is a wonderfully detailed and developed community of wizardry! Harry's grown up and so has the story - it's a fantastic journey that draws us into the trouble and threat that the heroes are facing.
Great movie - definitely worth the ticket price!
And I don't begrudge them the additional ticket price for the upcoming part two - it wouldn't have been nearly as good if they had crammed everything into one show.
