I bet this movie wil have the same imact as Star Wars had 30 years ago (If Cameron is alowed to developed the trilogy he already talked about... Probable given the box office success the film already had).

The good: impressive effects when watching it in 3D, plot is good (the most "visual" part of Verne's book), almost family friendly (some scary parts but pointless-violence free);
The bad: the plot could have been developed further (movie is too short for the material it narrates).
