If only it had a good director

This movie would have been great if it wasn't for the director. Johnny Depp, Christian Bale, and all the other actors and actresses did an unbelievable job on portraying there characters. But the slow pace of the movie, especially during the action scenes, really took a lot out of it. What should have been a high action thriller about one of the greatest bank robbers of all time, ended up being more about how John Dillinger like to spend his leggier time. This with the random camera style, that looks like they gave a 13-year-old kid a camcorder, the kind they used in Children of Men. All in all though this is still a good movie to go see. But its one that you'll enjoy and never feel like seeing again.
No, I do not recommend this movie.
