This movie did not let me down. As a sequel to a phenomenal first film, there is always a bit of apprehension that it won't be as good as the first. Well in my opinion it was every bit as good.
The Joker was finally written and portrayed the way I have always believed the character should have been. Kudos to the writers, directors, and Heath Ledger for finally making a film that does the Joker justice. Heath Ledger sold me completely on the character and it is a shame that he won't ever be able to portray this character again.
I was 100% satisfied with almost everything in this film, except for two things:
One, the character of Harvey Dent is built up throughout the movie, and the Two Face character seems to lack much of the true bad guy depth at the end.
Two, at times the movie seems to drag on and and seemed to me to be slow in parts.
However the end of the movie makes this all worth it.
In my opinion any fan of the Killing Joke or the dark side of the Batman genre, will truly enjoy this film.
