Another fantastic portrayal by Peter Jackson. He knocked this one out of the park. I was told by a friend that this movie came off as more "cartoonish" and the use of CG in this feel is definitely more heavy handed. But the truth is, their quest isn't the world ended over burden of the LotR, so in general it is going to be a lighter fair.
Everything about this movie just sings. The movie flew by. And Martin Freeman was a PERFECT choice.
The tie in to the originals and setting up exactly how Martin is was done very delicately. I highly recommend this movie, and wouldn't mind going to see it again.
