May the Odds be Ever in Your Favor

Hunger Games has such a strong narrative structure, built-in forward movement and compelling central character that it can't go far wrong. Both fans of the books and those brand new to the story of Katniss Everdeen will find The Hunger Games compelling. With the first film proving the series is in good hands, I'm excited to see the next chapters play out onscreen. Rarely does a blockbuster live up to its overheated hype, but The Hunger Games proved to be an exception. Lawrence and this franchise will go far. A must see."
Yes, I recommend this movie.

The funny, touching and vital Jeff, Who Lives at Home reaffirms your faith in Jay and Mark Duplass. Their films hit you where you live. Everyone asks for a sign every now and then, let this be yours to see an original film that will be worth the ticket price. A must see.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Perfect blend of action and comedy that doubles as a satire of teen culture and TV to film adaptations. Hill and Tatum are superb leads. Hilarious and fun. A must see.

Paranormal Activity has been here before, of course, but Silent House springs tangy new tricks, and Olsen is a primo scream queen.
Silent House is a relentless thriller ... It's also a technically savvy and ingenious film.
Remake or not, the provocative "Silent House" has been born anew. A must see.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

You, are, John Carter of Earth?

John Carter' is the best-looking 3-D sci-fi adventure since 'Avatar. Visionary and philosophical, with the sort of complex allusions to death, immortality and the destruction of civilizations that you don't expect from a $250 million film. Saturday afternoon matinee fun. Think Conan the Barbarian clashing with the gods of Clash of the Titans who are conquering Mars, Gladiator style. A must see.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

A funny combination of "Risky Business" and "Superbad," "Project X" is a fond look at high school parties and the people that attend them. Clever, brilliantly shot, and dropdown funny, Project X delivers the raunchy goods in spades. Project X isn't just a party; it's an experience. It will amuse, excite, sicken and exhaust you. A must see.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Real Seals

Act of Valor" smartly refrains from jingoistic flag waving. What it does is spotlight the quiet heroism of the men - and women - who fight and die to keep this country and us safe. Through the use of active duty Navy SEALS, live ammo and helmet cameras, Act of Valor produces insanely realistic action. Just don't go in expecting good acting from the SEALS. Worth watching for the heavy doses of authentic SEAL action- but keep in mind that this is still propaganda. A must see

While Ghost Rider 2 is about as subtle as a sledgehammer and positively drenched in pyrotechnics and car chases, it's also rather fun and, like all the best comic books, a little cleverer than first impressions suggest. A must see.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
