The most amazing Resident Evil to date. An edge of your seat thrill ride, with more guns, guts, and zombies. Anderson heaves axes, artillery, shattered glass and The Thing-style dogs at the camera to wincing effect, and it brings all the punch of the first Evils, and then steps up it to a whole new level not only with the blood and action, but the special effects and the use of of the IMAX 3D technology will blow you away. If your going to see one movie in 3D this year, make it this one. A Must SEE!
One of the most outrageously entertaining, tongue-in-cheek guilty pleasures since Kill Bill---as long as you're willing to check your brain at the door from start to finish. Machete is everything the Grindhouse movie wasn't. It doesn't posture. It doesn't pretend. It doesn't feel like idol worship. The pace is swift, the tone playful, the screenplay peppered with one-liners. Machete brings director Robert Rodriguez's career full circle and emerges as one of his very best films and a must see this summers end.
A creepy, smartly written and very entertaining low-budget chiller. A worthy addition to the horror climate, that is a tense and generally understated chiller that might creep you right the hell out. It's human-scaled horror, which is rare enough these days, and enough of it works that The Last Exorcism lingers long after the debate about what is or isn't "real" wraps up. All in all, a must see scare for this summer.
Takers’ is a solid, involving caper that is a slickly efficient cops-and-robbers game, that uses a mix of past movies such as Heat and The Italian Job to make old, new again. Leaning very heavily on style and attitude, director John Luessenhop keeps the action rolling along at a steady clip. A serviceable, passable, entertaining heist movie that is a must see this summer.
A formulaic comedy that’s enlivened by the high spirits of its supporting players. Like Barbershop, The Lottery Ticket is about a community as much as it is about a lucky young man who gets in over his head. Pays off on the laughs with a strong message about using sudden riches responsibly and the importance of giving back to the community. Definitely heartfelt, and absolutely funny, Lottery Ticket is the next Friday and just a great escape this summer at the movies.
A pop-culture cocktail that is fun, funny and deliciously offbeat. Scott Pilgrim vs. the World is perhaps the closest any filmmaker has come yet to translating comic book material directly to the movie screen. An impressive and ambitious achievement, one that manages to feel both meticulous in all its hilarious detail and at the same time, rambunctious and heartfelt. Michael Cera elevates deadpan to an art, starring as a slacker turned action hero in this wildly inventive comedy. Scott Pilgrim is about as perfect as it could be. The experience is like looking at a painting. You either instinctively like, dislike, loathe, or love what you are seeing. A must see this summer!
The Expendables is a hard-hitting action/thriller that is easily the best action film of the summer and can be considered the number one contender for the manliest movie ever made. A throat-slashing, elbow-dropping, grenade-throwing, trigger-pulling, and limb-dismembering good time. Stallone grabs you by the balls and doesn't let go for until the credits roll! Fathers, don't let your sons grow up without The Expendables because it is a must see this summer.
The main reason to see Step Up 3D is for the high-energy dancing and innovative camerawork because its uses an even mix of innovative dance and clichéd drama to really keep the mood light on its feet. Audiences looking to get a cinematic workout from the high-stepping action served up here then look no further. its a good flick to catch if your looking to get pumped up this summer!"

Easily the best comedy of the year... The Other Guys delivers bursts of comedy during a summer largely devoid of laughs. This is that rarest of comedies -- inspired by a delirious, surreal, randomness, all delivered with sincere conviction and all the funnier for it. The other (better) Cop Out, this movie wears its good-natured silliness like a merit badge and delivers a buddy cop movie that’s funnier way more often than it isn’t. A must see this summer!
