Lost Track of Time.

A landmark achievement in visual effects, sound and production design, Tron Leagcy delivers on all levels, the action scenes are some of the best you'll see this year. Occasionally self-indulgent and silly, the sequel is an undeniably entertaining flick, a cornucopia of eye candy and family-friendly violence. One of the few winter films that feels like an event ... family-friendly geek paradise. Technically spectacular, visually and aurally - best viewed in IMAX 3-D and a must see this holiday season.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

The Perfect Trip. The Perfect Trap.

This movie is like a fancy sundae, a concoction of sweet thrills, enjoyable but light on substance. It's the kind of espionage caper that doesn't get made anymore, a visually sensuous picture made with tender attention to detail and an elegant, understated sense of humor. The steamy and barely restrained cat and mouse chemistry between Jolie and Depp is palpable throughout. And laced with stylishly provocative wit and charm, in an enigmatic tango between the entrapped nicotine nut and predatory love junkie in charge. So just scoop it up, enjoy the sugary rush and smile.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

The concept in itself sounds cool. Assassins from the east battle against cowboys from the west. With The Warrior's Way, we get the best of both worlds with likable characters, especially the little baby. The setting of the movie is very stylized, and brings you a very romanticized western. The same can be said about the eastern setting. You can tell that the director loves Sergio Leone and Akira Kurosawa movies. You can tell that the cast and crew had a fun time making this movie as much as I enjoyed watching it, since the movie doesn't take itself too seriously and has a nice blend of humor and violence. The Warrior's Way brings the magic of the west and east and mixes in influences from spaghetti westerns and action anime and jumbles it together to serve us something really cool. A must see!
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Slow Justice is No Justice!

Faster turns out to be a better-than-average vendetta film with enough forward momentum to k.eep audiences glued (Elmer's, not Super) to their seats. It was built for speed, and for an action-savvy audience who can appreciate a throwaway vengeance flick for exactly what it is. Faster'' is meat-and-potatoes action with a side of crazy and a must see this Thanksgiving.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Faults and all, The Next Three Days is a pleasant surprise this fall -- a thriller that moves us while steering clear of the action cliches. Paul Haggis defies convention and avoids cliché with a smart script that's at once thrilling and romantic. Crowe proves he can still play an ordinary man and after a slow burn, this film picks up the pace for an insanely exciting finish. The Next Three Days is a popcorn thriller through and through and a must see this fall!

The Deathly Hollows.

"Part 1 has paved the way for what's likely to be the best film of the series. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1 features some of the strongest, most beautifully realized moments in all of the series. Basically, you'll love it if you love Potter and you'll hate if you hate Potter, but if you're just looking for some fun in the theaters you can do far, far, far, far, far worse than Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.
146 minutes of minutely, magnificently detailed, precisely paced, decidedly dark fare - and the fans wouldn't have it any other way. A must see this holiday season."

Its Independence Day meets Cloverfield in this action packed sci-fi blockbuster, with amazing special effects that will blow you away. Its the biggest little alien invasion that you can't miss, and this time no stupid weaknesses to water, bacteria, or computer virsuses. So look into the light and follow the line to the theater because this is one movie you won't want to miss.

The biggest liability, the road comedy ,Due Date carries its expectations. More of an extended sketch than a comedy classic. Still, it has Robert Downey Jr. in a comic role, which is a fine use of his incredible talents. With "Due Date," director Todd Phillips perfects the particular brand of comic alchemy that made his 2009 comedy "The Hangover" such an unexpectedly huge hit. A rowdy, raunchy road trip that probably delivers the laughs you expect until 'Hangover 2' debuts next year. A must see.

The Eastwood magic still works. This is not his best film but it is still a good one. With a deliberate pace and some fine performances, this film makes the utterly preposterous seem almost believable. That is quite an achievement in itself. More than that, Eastwood has made this an enjoyable film, which is just as remarkable. Contains moments of exceptional beauty as well as scenes of intense emotional anguish. I admire Eastwood for taking on another difficult theme and handling it so well. A must see.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
