Slick, swift and edgy enough to keep you glued, with "The Mechanic," Statham has found a vehicle nicely suited to his narrow but nevertheless real talents. Engineered to do exactly what you want: smash, crash and burn, it exudes style and swagger. The Mechanic" is insane, bordering on gloriously insane and a must see this weekend.
While it may not ultimately prove memorable enough to launch a new film franchise, The Green Hornet is still a fun action-comedy and clever superhero satire that's about as close to a cool summer movie as you're going to get in the dead of winter. This appears to be a breakout role for the talented and charismatic Chou, whose star should rise in Hollywood. The movie is full of visual eye candy that includes use of a split screen and rapid editing to speed up the car chases and... The Green Hornet" has enough kicks and verve to keep the winter blues at bay, at least for a little while and is a real must see."
The movie is not all that deep, but it does go further than many of its kind in acknowledging the hurt and difficulty that are the deep wellsprings of any comedy worthy of the name. What "The Dilemma" ultimately does best is create a platform for Vaughn to drag that iconic character of his into full-blown adulthood. While it feels a bit unbalanced at times, The Dilemma still proves to be a sincerely clever comedy and a must see for anyone looking for a laugh.

Now to all you haters out there, this movie is not that bad. No it's not an epic masterpiece by any stretch, but it's still an enjoyable enough movie for those looking for alittle reality escape. It may not be historically accurate and they don't speak like the time, but truthfully do any of us really care. I thought we went to movies to have a good time not have a history lesson or not understand what's being said. I mean if you want that take a history class or call a customer service line if you want history or somone speaking bad english. All in all, this movie easily kept my attention and is good early morning movie when the prices are lower and that way if you don't like you didn't waste 10 plus dollars.
Consistently chuckle-worthy, Little Fockers...somehow sidesteps the law of diminishing returns that usually applies to comedy threequels. A predictable but not unwelcome addition to the Focker family. Watching A-list actors behave like morons is not a bad way to offset the dreadful false cheer of the season, so go see it and have yourself a laugh.
A fitting tribute to a real-life Rocky and Adrian featuring a quartet of inspired performances by Mark Wahlberg, Christian Bale, Melissa Leo and Amy Adams. Its a powerful and somehow fresh movie about a subject that had seemingly been sucked dry of ideas. Amy Adams stepped out of her cookie cutter roles and took on a badass role and stole the show. By far her best performance. The Fighter delivers and inspirational knockout and is a must see this season.
The thought of remaking the film that finally garnered an Academy Award for John Wayne seemed inconceivable at first, but in the hands of Oscar winners Ethan and Joel Coen, 'True Grit,' is a splendid delight and a reboot that Wayne would be proud of. This remake by Joel and Ethan Coen is being positioned as a truer True Grit, and though they take their own liberties with the plot and tone, they preserve Portis's impeccably authentic dialogue. The Coen brothers shoot straight with a slick, surreal remake of this classic Western, so just saddle up and see it yourself.
Dawn Treader delivers some epic-sized adventure and reinvigorates the franchise and shows there actually is life left in the series with the right hand at the helm. Simple and satisfying; the best of the three and is a fitting end to the story. A must see this holiday season.
A beautifully shot but aggressively menacing film that is at turns irresistibly sumptuous and hide-your-eyes-behind-your-hands disturbing. Ballet is an art which explores love and death through the symbolism of music and dance. Mix in a ballerina with extreme self esteem issues, and you get a fascinating, edgy film. Black Swan" is that rare holiday Oscar contender that is a movie for all seasons, a film that is all things to all people and a must see.
