Wash Your Winky

A perfect remake vehicle for British comic Russell Brand ...in his most winning cinematic performance to date.Russell Brand creates a distinctive character based on his own persona, rather than trying to mimic Dudley Moore. He is by turns hilarious and touching, with an inner core of sweetness we haven't seen from him before.Like its titular, well-intentioned hedonist scoundrel, Arthur is really quite delightful if given the chance. Romantic and playful. A must see.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

The House isn't Haunted

Here's a better-than-average spook house movie, mostly because Insidious decides it can haunt an audience without spraying it with blood. Strong, extraordinarily disciplined horror flick. No cheap scares here. Insidious is a haunted-house movie that has some of the most shivery and incredelible images I've seen in any horror film in decades. A must see.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Make Every Second Count

A popcorn flick seasoned with just enough smarts and heart to keep us engaged and invested. The frequently mind-bending plot keeps the viewer engaged, but it's the sympathetic attention to its characters and their urgent connections with each other that give the audience a reason to care. Source Code" is perfectly enjoyable as a swiftly moving thriller, and Gyllenhaal is effective as a mystified fellow who eventually engages himself - and us - in putting the pieces of the puzzle together. A must see!
Yes, I recommend this movie.

You Will Be Unprepared

The movie is a head trip of the most awesome kind -- one I can't wait to take again. Who is that sucker punch aimed at? It might be us. But so what? I'm glad I didn't duck it. It's a film made with serious purpose and serious skill, and I think Zack Snyder just thought of the craziest things he wanted to see in a movie, so he did it. That's what artists should do. Now it turns out to be some metaphorical fantasy and that's cool too. Snyder's craziest ride yet and his most ambitious film to date ... the action ultimately wins out over the actual story. A must, must see in theaters because it will blow you away!
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Would You Take It?

'Limitless' is a fast moving, fantasy fun ride and full of thrills. Cooper, with a winning charisma, makes the film interesting to watch, with all flash and sizzle, but still delivers; it's equal parts superhero wish fulfillment and cautionary yuppie satire, and it's also a hell of a fun ride. Add it all up, including the nifty twist at the end, and what we have here is a fun Hollywood flick with a good head on its shoulders. A must see.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

What Would You do with a Hall Pass?

A gross-out comedy about the perpetual immaturity of the American male that has, amazingly enough, a mature perspective. There's a couple of big shocking laughs and a pair of very likeable lead actors. The script isn't always funny but it has just enough charm to get it through the rough patches. Hall Pass shows flashes of '90s-Farrelly magic; and even at its most reductive, the film can still fall back on a basic tenet: These guys know their way around a gag. The ultimate message is "there's no place like home," just like The Wizard of Oz -- but trust me, this one ain't for the kids.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

We have Hope

What a joy to see an original vision constructed with so much passion and smarts. Rango" is proof that not all new animated films need to go the gimmicky way of 3-D. Quick-witted animated Western spoof gets plenty mileage out of good writing, a grand sense of fun, and the voice of Johnny Depp. Closer to a comedy for adults than a kids' flick, this ground-breaking and simply unmissable animation bursts with creativity, humour and clever references and is a must see.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Beware the Wolf

Despite the ill-advised advertising, this is not a horror film or a Twilight knock-off. It's a mystery, and a good one with fine acting, pace, and ambience. The suspense-filled mystery keeps the audience guessing as to the human identity of the werewolf. This crowd-pleasing guilty pleasure will exceed all your expectations. Hardwicke does succeed in creating a dark, claustrophobic atmosphere over the proceedings, even in daylight and is a passable young-adult thriller.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Laugh out Loud Funny!

A sweet, likable little movie that allows its supporting cast to outshine the stars. Paul is like all those comedies I used to like, the kind where they were just plain good. A celebration of sci-fi flicks, fanboys and good, old-fashioned bromance, "Paul" is a thoroughly enjoyable road trip. The film delivers laughs and heart and some strong ideas and energy and is a must see.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Elektra Luxx

What's to say about Elektra Luxx? If you are one of the people who hated Women In Trouble, then I wouldn't bother. You're probably not going to like Elektra Luxx, either. But if, like me, you thought Women In Trouble was an underrated masterpiece, then you are in for a real treat, because what Women In Trouble did perfectly, Elektra Luxx does even better. One of those rare sequels that improves upon the original. It is to Women In Trouble what The Empire Strikes Back was to Star Wars; what The Godfather II was to The Godfather. Funny and heartbreaking, with absolutely fantastic performances by some of the most talented (and sadly underrated) actresses working today.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
