That's Do it Tonight!

New Year's Eve is still laugh-out-loud funny in places and tries to be as heartwarming as valentines Day. It's not bad, but I think they should've had less going on in order to add more substance to each situation instead of cramming as many stars as they could in one movie. All in all, its worth seeing but I think they should have brought it out closer to New Years that would have made more sense.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

A crasser but very nearly as sweet unofficial remake of 1987's "Adventures in Babysitting." A lazy ramble of a movie that's amusing enough to hold your gaze for 81 minutes while leaving you feeling a little cheated when it's over. You'll probably be surprised at how much you end up enjoying it. A must see.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

You really don't have a clue do you?

It's a lovely, heartfelt character study of common, everyday people trapped on the horns of an uncommon but not unheard-of dilemma. A career-changing performance by George Clooney, playing a dad - that in of itself is a seismic shift; he's nearly always been the lothario or lone wolf - coping with his wife in a coma.
It's smart, funny, heartbreaking, heartwarming, wise, and, despite some sad moments, genuinely optimistic. I experienced more feelings watching it than I usually get from ten movies.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Aimed at the kids but provides a few chuckles for the adults too. Jack and Jill isn't Sandler's best but still provides enough laughs for an entertaining time at the movies. All in all, if I was undecided or had something else to see I'd wait for dvd.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

What's a wedding without some drama?

Caught an early sneak peek showing of this and I have to say I was impressed. As a stand-alone movie it's a mixed bag. But it progresses the story of beloved characters with a reverence for the source material that will doubtlessly please Twi-hards, ushering in a finale that promises to be darker still. This one draws you close and keeps you there - and, for those of us who haven't read Stephenie Meyer's novel, delivers some surprising turns of plot. All in all, a must see!
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Fight for immortality!

Immortals is worth seeing just for the battle prowess of Zeus and his cronies. It won't do anything to win over those not already partial to Tarsem's style, but it has more than enough blood, guts and glamour to satisfy - and Cavill looks like a superman. Ambitious, visually striking and virtually nonstop in its carnage, Immortals is a big-screen popcorn movie to send off 2011 with a bang. You can taste the fury. A must see.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

What you want to Steal?

The term "crowd-pleaser" is usually meant as a bad thing, something that's trying to be all things to all people. But "Tower Heist" is a quick-witted, light-footed action comedy that would genuinely please a crowd. The story about a rich man in a Manhattan skyscraper ripping off his employees feels economically fresh. For everyone who has been duped by Wall Street or hit hard by the economy, 'Tower Heist' delivers the fantasy that you can get your revenge. A must see.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Get your Santa hats on and buckle up for the latest adventure of Harold & Kumar. It's the stocking stuffer that you have been waiting for. Utterly stupid, not to mention rude, crude and irreverent in the extreme, A Very Harold & Kumar 3D Christmas is exactly what the fans are hungering for. Cho and Penn still make for a winning comedy team, Neil Patrick Harris's willingness to subvert his public persona is refreshing as always. 'Harold & Kumar' are naughty and nice and a must see.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

How Much Do You Drink?

Those of us who appreciate and celebrate oddness, and Johnny Depp, will be pleasantly rewarded. In every move, Depp makes you believe this was a passion project for the actor, one he dedicates to Thompson. There isn't a single character in this jam-packed movie who doesn't register vividly, and that is a tribute to the antic skills of Robinson. While it may not be ground breaking stuff, The Rum Diary should register as a delirious ode to the 99%. A must see.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Full of action, adventure and the ever popular ticking clock, Niccol's In Time definitely entertains. Niccol is practicing the old-school craft of making a barn-broad alternate-reality that forces you to think about the way we all consensually agree to participate in systems -- even when those systems are hopelessly screwed up. If you can get past the plot holes and the copious time puns, In Time is actually rather brisk, enjoyable entertainment. A must see.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
