Absolutely Amazing

With the exception of Maggie Gyllenhaal, who neither is attractive nor a good actress, this is the best movie I have seen in years. Christopher Nolan continues to build the Batman saga into what it was meant to be, a dark tale filled with macabre characters and situations. I, like most people on the planet, have heard nothing but hype for the late Heath Ledger's portrayal of the Joker. Well, I am happy to report that his performance, in my mind, has lived up to, if not exceeded the pre-release buzz. As a fan of the comic books, I also like the fact that he showed the Joker as the brilliant, yet horribly twisted and ruthless, mastermind that makes him Batman's number one nemesis. Overall, I just hope that the gang comes back for at least one more tale from Gotham City.
