I went to see Avatar with high hopes and a bit of trepidation. I had read advance reviews that did not appreciate the story.
I enjoyed the story and the fact that they took the time to introduce us to who the Navi were. By the time the major conflict starts to happen, I had become attached to the Navi. Visually, there are so many incredible scenes even before the battle scenes toward the end.
I also was pleased with the ending. I was a little worried about that after seeing The Abyss (one of the worst endings ever in a movie.)
I am definitely going to see it again.
