We were not prepared for The Dark Knight to be as good as it ended up being. The acting especially Heath Ledger and Aaron Eckhart was surpassed (perhaps) only by the script and pacing.
This is the first movie in a while where we did not know what was coming next.
This film is easily worth the hype and even better than Batman Begins. But don't take my word or anyone elses...go see it yourself.

The IMAX Experience definitely added another order of magnitude to the experience and see it in IMAX if you can.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
