Batman Begins was excellent, it convinced me that good movies are still possible to make, it revitalized the comic book film in general, and the woefully degraded Batman franchise in particular.
Compared to 'The Dark Knight', though, 'Begins' was a mere rolling up of the sleeves. There's meat here. This is a film into which one's teeth should be sunk without delay. It will make your head spin, your heart race, and your mouth open. And then you'll be very quiet for a very long time, because there's not much one can justify saying after watching a picture like this. Please go see it.
