Another Admirable Addition to the Batman Anthology

I was originally worried that this movie would deviate form the formula that was successful with Batman Begins. This fear was fed through high expectations, as well as previews that showed explosion after explosion, giving me the impression of a senseless action movie. These worrisome broodings were swept quickly aside. The movie proved to be true to its roots and the Nolan brothers wrote a great script. The movie had great character development, a plot that delves deeper than usual repertoire of superhero movies. This movie is darker than the previous Nolan iteration of the Batman franchise. It could have easily pushed its way into the R rating. It is too intense for children, and is aimed at the late teen to thirties crowd. The movie was a thrilling rollercoaster ride. There are superhero movies, and then there is The Dark Knight.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
