I had read a popular entertainment magazine's review of the movie and was very surprised when I saw all their comments shot down. Alice does eventually (very briefly) remember her time in Wonderland as a child. The Cheshire cat isn't shown to humor the fans, but he actually has a role in the movie and especially in the beheading scene! The costumes are gorgeous, "off with his head" does not get old. It was like "Titanic", those girls in those laced-up societies that break free, I just loved it!
Yes, I recommend this movie.
