This movie is one collective wink from Speilberg and Lucas, and Ford, Allen, LeBeouf, etc. are all in on the wink. Shot "nostalgic" with washout colors and hot lighting...it is filmed with brilliance I don't remember seeing in a Speilberg movie before. Beginning with the Paramount dissolve into the opening shot, it's evident that Speilberg was all about giving Indy fans every ounce of Indy genre possible. Just see how many times this film made light of itself. I will see this movie multiple times because it is just so FUN.
