Great Summer Flick, Not a Masterpiece

This is by far the greatest summer action movie I've seen. The action scenes are amazing and the plots are intriguing and thought provoking. The acting is impecable. Health Leger's preformance was great, as expected, but Aaron Eckhart's preformance really caught me off guard, in a good way.
However, there are one too many plots for it to be a masterpiece; there was not one cohesive story that took the film from start to finish. During the film I thought the climax had been reached on no fewer than three occassions and after the film was over I had forgotten about the plot of the first half of the movie. All in all, great movie, but not quite up to the hype.
