The Dark Knight was highly anticipated, and for a reason. I could not wait to see this movie. Even the previews got me excited. Dark Knight was perfectly executed, and I left the movie theater feeling like if I died, life would be perfect. Christian Bale yet again delivers a phenomenal performance, as does the rest of the cast. Heath Ledger... now let me talk about him. Yes, he died, but he will live on in my mind and in many others as quite possibly the best superhero villain put into movie form. Ledger was psychotic, dark, twisted, and funny... everything needed to nail his character. My only complaint about this movie is the fact that Katie Holmes was /not/ used as Rachel Dawes. The new girl was not as hot and rather pudgy to me, and I think that took away from the consistency of Batman Begins and The Dark Knight. But with that aside, my money was well spent!
Yes, I recommend this movie.
