Reminds me of the American musicals of the Depression era with Kung Fu Panda thrown in. Very entertaining. It's long--over two and a half hours, but goes by quickly.
I lived through the Nixon era, but never saw the original interview. This has really perked my interest anew of a man was extremely intelligent and politically savvy, but just didn't "get" the American people or possibly people in general.
Since everyone now knows Hellboy's history, we can get on with the stories from here on out. I enjoyed this movie very much. I like del Toro who always uses twists of the unusual in his stories. I actually cried...says something for the acting, considering all that makeup. I don't want to give too much away. You definitely need to see it on the big screen.
A good movie with a lesson that doesn't beat you over the head with it. My row happened to be only adults and we couldn't stop laughing along with the kids in the audience. Fun for all.
