The movie did a great job with special effects and brought the book to life wonderfully. I missed the Victoria from the previous movies, but the replacement did okay. I have read all the books, but went to see this movie with a friend who has only seen the movies. For both of us it proved to be an exciting and interesting movie! Edward looks better in this movie than in New Moon and I enjoyed the better character development of the Cullens family members. The relationship between Bella and Edward and Bella and Jacob seems a little forced and contrived at times. This makes it difficult to get absorbed into the passionate love between them, whereas I had no problem getting wrapped up into it in the books. This movie, overall, left me looking forward to the final movie in the sequel.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
