Be prepared to wait a while for some action in this movie. Most of the movie is spent building up to the last 20 minutes, trying to make you figure out who the bad guys are. It has a good twist. Good characters/casting. Not a must-see movie, but it was worth our time and money.
I can't believe so many people wrote how funny this movie was! It was really NOT funny. I laughed maybe three times. It was basically stupid and boring. It was the longest hour and a half I've spent in a long, long time. Don't waste your money! The only thing worth watching in this movie was Bradley Cooper!
I love horror movies and so do my kids, ages 11 and 9. The only one scared was my daughter (9) and only because it was "based on a true story". I understand now that only a small portion of the movie is actually true. The movie is really pretty stupid. There are all these things happening to the people in the house, but they still sleep there every night!! Why don't they just leave?!!!! Don't bother spending the money. Maybe get it on DVD if there is nothing else.
Wanted was a pretty good movie which kept us interested through most of the nearly two hours. Unfortunately, the paper's review stated "some sexuality" and we took our kids to see it thinking it would be mild. The sexuality was definitely NOT mild! My kids liked the movie, but I would not have taken them to see it if I had known then what I know now. For adults, it was predictable sometimes and, at times, unbelievable but still worth seeing. Just not a must-see.
