Visually stunning display of CGI technology, seamless effects, beautiful, excellent 3D; but I won't see it again. Plot and character development were flat and predictable with absurd political overtones. Lacking the visual effects, it’s a bad made for TV movie. Too much fighting and too little about the culture and unobtanium (dumb name sums up the overall script). Great effects masked a bad script and political agenda. I'd prefer a movie without the preaching, slamming, and stereotypical evil US military supporting US corporate greed. No love for our military or the US in Avatar. Visually stunning, see it for that, otherwise, it is a poorly executed juvenile comic book.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
