I am so not a star trek person, but this movie was great! It was easy to follow for someone not familiar with the plot line, it was modern, and the special effects were awesome! I would definitely recommend this movie!

we really enjoyed this movie. the 3d effects were awesome. there were a couple of scenes that scared my four year old, but overall, it was great!
