We really enjoyed this movie. It engages you from the very beginning and keeps you glued to the screen until the credits roll. It has great dialogue, non stop action and a unique interesting story. If you have kids, it is mainly the language that makes it PG13, but there is some violence too.
Pros well paced, great story, great actors

Although I really wasn't expecting to like it, this movie was fantastic. I started out hating Kirk and Spock and I think that was deliberate. As the story went on, I grew to like them and believe them as Kirk and Spock. I think all the actors did a great job and the story really does bring the franchise into the future and gives itself a great excuse for never having to follow or avoid being out of sync with the "known existing Trek doctrine".
Yes, I recommend this movie.
