I know that most of Tyler Perry's movies are geared more toward women but this one is actually "Guy" friendly. I loved this movie and it was not over the top like most of his movies are and it is directed so both men and women can enjoy it. This movie was funny and entertaining and as a guy I could relate and understand the plot as being universal, witty and in some cases "whoa he went there". I recommend it to all men and women (Black and white) alike and make it a date night with dinner. She will thank you later (hint hint)....

How Dark Can you Get?

The Dark Knight is easily one of the best movies of this year. It was a tad long but undersatndable if you know the true history of Batman. I recommend seeing this movie on IMAX as I did. I think it is the only way to go for a movie of this magnitude. I am a harsh critic of movies but this movie delivered on action, acting, and special effects. Acting was top notch and Mr. Ledger does deserve and Academy Award nod for his perfomance. Go see it and yes you can bring your lady to this one as well fellas.

Ok I love blood and guts, and I definitely love action packed movies that have Angelina Jolie in them. But let's be real...This movie had great action but the movie was longer than it had to be, and the plot-come on you could figure it out half way through it. James McAvoy tried to be a nerd turned action hero but honestly he needs to remain a nerd. He was not believeable! The best part of the movie was looking at AJ's bum getting out of the water! Everything else about the acting and plot was sub-par! Get this movie on Netflix and you will be happy. On Netflix I would give it 4-5 stars but to waste 25.00 (2 tix) on this movie was a bad idea. Stay away from this movie in theaters!!!!
