This movie blew the hype out of the water. This is probably sounding redundant by now, but Heath really raised the bar for villains...and acting in general. The Joker was portrayed just how he should have been...meniachal, psychotic, disturbed, no remorse, and even a bit humorous. I'm not a big fan of Aaron Eckhart but I think he did a great job. I was also glad that Gary Oldman's Comissioner Gordan had a bigger role in this film. He is a great actor and his character is amazing in this movie. Maggie Gyllenhall was way better than Katie Holmes ever would have been and Christian Bale is the best Batman to date. Plus, Michael Caine and Morgan Freeman? Wow...seriously the best movie of the year. Well done Christopher Nolan...well done.
