Michelle & Patrick & Sydney Pollack have star quality for days, so they're lots of fun to watch.
There was some fresh writing, but it could have been funnier (ala SERENDIPITY). Check out Michelle in her one-line role in UNFAITHFUL as Gere's assistant. Since I tried to cast Patrick Dempsey in a network pilot in 1984, but couldn't get my committee of producers to see what a star he was, it's sure gratifying to see him finally recognized. The movie had great music too (particularly the opening), & with the addition of a song by Keaton Simons, it might have even soared higher.
