Star Trek ROCKS!!!!!

This new Star Trek universe is so much fun and so well balanced with the one I have known and loved and grew uip with that it is realy hard to say much more than I loved it!!! I walked out of the theatre wanting to go get another large popcorn and large drink and go see it again. I was so rowdy with excitement the first 20 min of the movie my wife finally had to put her hand over my mouth to get me to settle down. There will be some who will argue that it isn't the "pure" Star Trek original. That it deviates from the past and facts anf figures set up by the originals history line. So what? They neatly and Logically (according to TWO Spocks) why it had to be that way. I, for one, and eagerly awaiting a sequal.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

If your family enjoys family oriented action movies, go see this one. It acurately follows the first movie and ties in seamlessly. If you missed the first one, you will still be able to fully understand this one (although it might take a bit for all the tie in to kick in). Well scripted and shot. The CGA and SFX are wonderful. Fun, fast-paced, entertaining, and CLEAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I see more violence in the cartoons that I do let my kids watch.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
