Absolutely amazing, in just about every sense of the word. I've never watched a movie with such amazing feats that depicted them so realistically. Not only did Gotham City look real (probably due to the large amount of scenes actually shot in Chicago), but the action itself felt real almost all the time. Then there's Heath Ledger. Words cannot describe my the sadness I feel whenever I think that he won't be in the next installment in the series. The part of the Joker has never been played so well, and probably never will be again. The sounds of his manic laughter are still echoing in my head...I could go on for hours and hours, but suffice to say that Heath Ledger is amazing, as is the movie. Bale, Caine, Freeman, and Eckhart all play their parts amazingly well, and the movie itself was brilliantly written. There's really nothing bad I have to say about it.
