Dark, Incredible, near flawless. The Dark Knight takes what was so good about Batman Begins and ups the ante. From the opening scene it is very apparent that the Joker is a brand new kind of criminal. He doesn't have some grand scheme to destroy the entire city or even to kill Batman. His entire goal is chaos and that's exactly what you get for 2.5 hours. There was never a moment during the movie that I absolutely knew what was going to happen next. The acting is superb on the parts of all the actors (even if scenes with Maggie Gyllenhall and Christian Bale felt forced, should have stuck with Katie Holmes). This is the best batman movie ever and quite possibly the best movie I've seen in years. Go see it.
