Despite a few far-fetched pieces of technology, this film was a huge success. Heath Ledger delivered a performance far beyond what I ever expected. Aaron Eckhart made a great Harvey Dent. I was most impressed that the movie was more of an ensemble piece, with Batman not always being the focal point. All I can say: It's a damn shame Heath Ledger is dead. I always enjoyed him in films before, but this is his best, most inspired performance ever. Like Cesar Romero on acid. It's a shame they couldn't do an R-rated version of the Dark Knight.
