A Whole New Kind of Batman

Forget everything you thought you knew about Batman movies, this one is far darker than the many that came before it. I know you've heard it a thousand times already, but Heath Ledger's joker could be one of the scariest villians of all time. Unlike previous batman installments, where the devious plots to destroy gotham seem campy and unrealistic, the joker seems real and believable, making him all the more terrifying. With great performances all around, incredible action sequences, stunning visual effects, and a well written script, Dark Knight may very well have surpassed Batman Begins as the best batman movie to date. If your looking for a movie reminding you of the campy original batman tv show, this is not your movie. But if your looking for a darker and more realistic spin on the comic books we've all grown up with, then this is your movie!
