This was pretty inline with the original movie, but the acting was more time period correct. Jeff Bridges portrayal of Rooster Cogburn was more believable as was Matt Damons.

Finally something worthwhile

I was very pleased with this movie. After seeing the American I was afraid of wasting my money. Some of Ben Affleck movies haven't been that good, but this one is very good. I like the suspense and it kept your interest thru the whole movie. Yea!

Boring, Slow, Boring

This was a terrible movie, there was no excitement to it at all. It was so slow, It was everything I could do to stay awake. There is no suspense, no action. It was terrible. This is the second movie by George Clooney, (who I love as a actor), that has been a big disappointment. It was worst than Up in the Air. Don't waste your money....Big Let Down

Cowboys and Indians

I was a little saddened by the story line. It was just like watching an old Cowboys and Indians movie. The love and respect of life, be it plant or animal. The old story line of the heck with other peoples cultures or belief. I did like the special effects but they didn't aww me.
