I had some fears about getting so many big stars to work together, having one steal the show etc., although I also had great expectations from one of my Sci-Fi/Fantasy heroes (along w/JJ Abrams). I wasn't disappointed . Just when I was reaching my limit of talk and setup, the action exploded in a intricately woven battle of the superheroes against the evil forces Each of the superheroes was feature, their strengths and personalities were woven together excellently and everything came together.
Pros well paced, great story, great actors, great action
Yes, I recommend this movie.

The best kids' movies, and the ones that last, appeal to adults as well, as least in having some more sophisticated humor and feelings. The movie is technically outstanding in detail, animation and wit (the dogs' perspectives were hilarious). However, what will make this a classic is that it provokes thought for kids and grown-ups really about the meaning of one's life, purpose and moral choices, as well as telling a touching story about the relationship between the boy and the old man. This is a great movie for everyone in the family!
