Yes the movie carries on forever and yes it does divert from the read a bit BUT you must keep in mind the reason as to WHY you went to see the film in the first place, and that's to see a good MOVIE. And that is what Ron Howard along with Tom Hanks has delivered. I would recommend this movie to my friends and family, the hardcore movie buff ones, who wouldn't mind sitting in a theater for two hours.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
