I thought this movie certainly wasn't worth the price of a ticket. It was disappointing on many fronts but the biggest disappointment was the apparent effort to replace any kind of meaningful plot with an overabundance of nudity. Don't waste your money.
I took my 5 year old Godson to this movie and we both enjoyed it very much. I think that most of the kids got what they were looking for, the animation, robotic voices, etc. As an adult I found the story line very interesting as it seemed to be a societal commentary regarding our anti-environmentalism but also the idea that electronics and gadgets run our lives. I agree with that commentary and I found myself noticing that after I left the movie I saw a lot of the same thing that was on the movie screen, fat people that weren't paying much attention to the world around them. I think that this move is well worth the money and that Pixar did another very good job putting together a film that has all of the needed pieces for a blockbuster film. It seemed that the adult and child experience were very different, each being given a little bit diffferent experience of their own. I thought the plot did slow down a few times during the movie enough that it was noticable. I gave it 4 out of 5 for a very good experience save the plot stalls. Definitely worth the money especially if you take a young one with you.
