The Dark Knight Delivers

If you haven't seen it yet, go out and buy a ticket now!
My expectations were high going in but the movie delivered in so many ways. Heath Ledger's performance will garner him a posthumous Oscar. Trust me on this! If that alone were it, the movie would still be worth seeing, but exceptional performances were delivered by Christian Bale in his reprise of Batman (The Dark Knight), Aaron Eckhart as Harvey Dent (Gotham's District Attorney), Michael Caine as Alfred Pennyworth, Gary Oldman as Lt. Gordon and Morgan Freeman as Lucious Fox.
The story was solid and Ledger will truly make you understand who the Joker really is/was in the world of the Gotham and The Dark Knight. I dare not say too much because I don't want to spoil it, but this Joker is twisted and echoes fears of how far a real psychotic killer could go if he wanted to wreak enough havoc.
My only sadness is that it went by way too fast and that Heath won't be able to bring that character to life again.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
